Imen Mezlini

National investigator
Imen Mezlini is the national investigator for Tunisia.

Biography

Imen is a graduate of the High Institute of International Commerce – IHEC Carthage- and has pursued studies in management at the Higher Institute of Management (ISG) Tunis.  She is a co-founder of One to One and she holds the position of research coordinator. She has been working for 13 years in surveys field.

Her fields of expertise are mainly in opinion polls and consumer behaviour research. She is managing and co-managing surveys such as the Afrobarometer and the Arab barometer in Tunisia and North Africa. She has managed surveys for national and international organisations, universities and private companies. Imen is actually managing a team of data analysts and she is working hand in hand with the fieldwork and the control departments. Working in different countries, being on the ground and participating in the sampling program for survey statisticians in the 2020 summer institute at the University of Michigan, helped her to participate in the sampling process and give added value.

Imen has also gained valuable experience in moderating focus groups and in-depth interviews in different fields, especially in socio-political questions and the service sector.

Since 2013, Imen has participated in the Afrobarometer surveys in Tunisia. Her responsibilities, within the framework of the survey, are the indigenization of the questionnaire, the interviewer’s training, the monitoring of the survey and the writing of media briefings, dispatches and press releases.
