The Afrobarometer national partner in Ethiopia, ABCON Research & Consulting, interviewed a nationally representative, random, stratified probability sample of 2,400 adult Ethiopians between May 25 and June 22, 2023. A sample of this size yields country-level results with a margin of error of +/-2 percentage points at a 95% confidence level. Previous surveys have been conducted in Ethiopia in 2013 and 2020. IDS provided technical backstopping for the survey.
