Biography

Raphael is the Team Lead of Social Research at NOIPolls. He has over 10 years of cross-cutting research and program experience on Governance, Business Development, Community Resilience, Violence and Conflict, Health, Agriculture and education.

 

Prior to joining NOIPolls, he was the Program Officer, Research and Strategy Development at the CLEEN Foundation where he coordinated nationwide surveys and programs; including the National Crime and Victimization Surveys, Harvard Justice Indicator Program and the West African Border Security Surveys.

 

Raphael was also the National Investigator for Afrobarometer Surveys where he successfully planned and led the implementation of all surveys on their behalf in Nigeria.

 

Over the last 4 years with NOIPolls, he has led several surveys and opinion polls for both Local and International Development Organizations in Nigeria such as the International Republican Institute (IRI), DFID, USAID, United States Institute of Peace (USIP), Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), the German Embassy, The World Bank, and the Global Fund program on health among others.

 

He possesses the requisite intellectual capital, skills and exposure to manage any research-based intervention program within the framework of global development in Sub-Saharan Africa having worked with diverse project teams, program partners and country stakeholders to deliver program objectives. He has attended various research training and courses in different African countries including South Africa, Ethiopia, Kenya and Senegal.

 

He holds a Master’s Degree in Project Development and Implementation from the University of Ibadan Nigeria.
