l’Institut pour la Gouvernance et le Développement is the national partner in Burkina Faso.

The Institute for Governance and Development (IGD) is a non-governmental organisation under Burkinabè law, with a regional vocation, specialising in the fields of governance, law and development.

IGD’s mission is to promote the best ideas on the major political, social and economic challenges of the 21st century facing African youth in particular.

The work of the Institute is carried out by a network of intellectuals and researchers who work on long-term issues relating to governance, public policy, political economy, social attitudes and international affairs. It is complemented by the expertise and research excellence of the IGD team.

Since its creation, the IGD has tried to stand out in research activities and above all in capacity building for national and sub-regional democratic governance actors.
