The Afrobarometer national partner in Botswana, Star Awards, interviewed a nationally representative, random, stratified probability sample of 1,200 adult Batswana between 23 July and 10 August 2022. A sample of this size yields country-level results with a margin of error of +/-3 percentage points at a 95% confidence level. Previous surveys have been conducted in Botswana in 1999, 2003, 2005, 2008, 2012, 2014, 2017, and 2019. IJR provided technical backstopping for the survey.
