Laboratoire d’Etudes et de Recherches sur les Dynamiques Sociales et le Développement Local (LASDEL) is the national partner in Niger.
The Laboratory for Studies and Research on Social Dynamics and Local Development (LASDEL) is a Nigerien and Beninese NGO. LASDEL conducts scientific research in social sciences and was founded in 2001 in Niamey (Niger), then extended in 2004 to Parakou (Benin).
LASDEL brings together some 40 researchers of various nationalities. The laboratory specialises in qualitative methods (field survey, immersion, free interviews, observations, case studies) and quantitative methods.
