The Afrobarometer national partner in Zimbabwe, Mass Public Opinion Institute (MPOI), interviewed a nationally representative, random, stratified probability sample of 1,200 adult Zimbabweans between 17 April and 1 May 2021. A sample of this size yields country-level results with a margin of error of +/-3 percentage points at a 95% confidence level. Previous standard Afrobarometer surveys have been conducted in Zimbabwe in 1999, 2004, 2005, 2009, 2012, 2014, and 2017. IJR provided technical backstopping for the survey.
