The Afrobarometer National Partner in Kenya, Institute for Development Studies, University of Nairobi, interviewed a nationally representative, random, stratified probability sample of 2,400 adult Kenyans from 28th August to 1st October, 2019. A sample of this size yields country-level results with a margin of error of +/-2% at a 95% confidence level. Previous surveys have been conducted in Kenya in 2003, 2005, 2008, 2011, 2014, and 2016. Technical details of the survey, including descriptions of stratification and household selection, translation languages, and related information, can be found in the survey Technical Information Form that follows immediately.

Below is an outline of the survey findings from all the questions posed to respondents. We also present the findings by some critical demographics such as gender and place of residence (urban-rural).
