The Afrobarometer National Partner in Mauritius, StraConsult Ltd, interviewed a nationally representative, random, stratified probability sample of 1,200 adult Mauritians from 27 June to 27 July 2014. A sample of this size yields results with a margin of error of +/-3% at a 95% confidence level. Previous surveys have been conducted in Mauritius in 2012. The Institute for Justice and Reconciliation (IJR) provided technical backstopping for the survey.
