The Afrobarometer National Partner in Uganda, Hatchile Consult Limited, interviewed a nationally representative, random, stratified probability sample of 1,200 adult Ugandans from 26 December 2016 and 8th January 2017. A sample of this size yields country-level results with a margin of error of +/-3% at a 95% confidence level. Previous surveys have been conducted in Uganda in 2000, 2002, 2005, 2008, and 2012 and 2015. IDS, University Of Nairobi provided technical backstopping for the survey.
