The Afrobarometer National Partner in South Africa, Plus 94 Research, interviewed a nationally representative, random, stratified probability sample of 1,829 adult South Africans between 30 July and 26 September 2018. A sample of this size yields country-level results with a margin of error of +/-2.3% at a 95% confidence level. Previous surveys have been conducted in South Africa in 2000, 2002, 2004, 2006, 2008, 2011, and 2015. Plus 94 Research provided technical backstopping for the survey.
