The Afrobarometer National Partner in Mauritius, StraConsult, interviewed a nationally representative, random, stratified probability sample of 1,200 adult Mauritians from 30 September 2017 to 01 November 2017. A sample of this size yields country-level results with a margin of error of +/-3% at a 95% confidence level. Previous surveys have been conducted in Mauritius in 2012 and 2014. The Institute for Justice and Reconciliation (IJR) provided technical backstopping for the survey.
