The Afrobarometer National Partner in Mauritius, Straconsult, interviewed a nationally representative, random, stratified probability sample of 1,200 adult Mauritians between 9 and 30 March 2022. A sample of this size yields country-level results with a margin of error of +/-3 percentage points at a 95% confidence level. Previous surveys have been conducted in Mauritius in 2012, 2014, 2017, and 2020. IJR provided technical backstopping for the survey.
