The Afrobarometer National Partner in Mauritius, Straconsult Ltd., interviewed a nationally representative, random, stratified probability sample of 1,200 adult citizens between 24 April and 11 May 2024. A sample of this size yields country-level results with a margin of error of +/-3 percentage points at a 95% confidence level. Previous surveys were conducted in Mauritius in 2012, 2014, 2017, 2020, and 2022. IJR provided technical backstopping for the survey.
