The Afrobarometer National Partner in Botswana, Star Awards, interviewed a nationally representative, random, stratified probability sample of 1,200 adult Batswana from 28 June to 14 July 2014. A sample of this size yields results with a margin of error of +/-3] at a 95% confidence level. Previous surveys have been conducted in Botswana in 1999, 2003, 2005, 2008 and 2012. Institute for Justice and Reconciliation (IJR) in South Africaprovided technical backstopping for the survey.
