Simon Kodiaga previously served as the communications coordinator for East Africa at Afrobarometer.

Biography

Simon Kodiaga has over 10 years of experience in Development Communications, Advocacy and Media Relations which includes project management, project, and the development and implementation of organizational communication strategy. Kodiaga possesses a degree in Journalism and Media Studies from the University of Nairobi, and he is currently perusing master’s in development communication at the same University.

Kodiaga joined Afrobarometer in 2020 as the network Communications Coordinator for the Eastern Africa Region. Prior to joining Afrobarometer, Kodiaga was the Head of Communication at the Federation of Women Lawyers-FIDA Kenya. He has also worked with the BBC World Service, Water Sector Trust Fund (Kenya Government State Corporation), European Union and Contact Network International.
