Oussema Mhamdi

Biography

Oussema Mhamdi is the fieldwork manager at One to One for Research and Polling. With over 12 years’ experience in management and monitoring fieldwork operations.

Oussema has a bachelor degree in sport and he is currently taking courses in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of Tunis April 9, to obtain a master’s degree in demography. Over the last 7 years at One to One, he has led the fieldwork of several surveys in Tunisia such as the Afrobarometer, the Arab Barometer and the Arab Index. Oussema is also overseeing fieldwork operations in a number of North African countries.

He is managing a large team of fieldworkers and he relies on that on his technical and interpersonal skills. Thanks to the richness of his experience as he started as interviewer, then has been promoted as a supervisor and finally as the head of fieldwork department, Oussema was able to overcome challenges related to data collection. When circumstances dictate, he is in the frontlines on the field with his team.

Oussema likes to practice sports. He has a black belt in Taekwondo.
