Oscar Bloh is a lawyer by training and has over 12 consecutive years of experience working as a development and peace-building practitioner, as well as a human rights advocate within the civil society sector. He served as the Country Director of Search for Common Ground in Liberia for over eight years. He has strong analytical and writing skills.
Oscar is also a researcher and serves as the Director of the Center for Democratic Governance (CDG), a Liberian research and policy Think Tank institution established in 2016. Oscar is a political governance specialist in Liberia and led the research of the African Peer Review Mechanism (APRM) on Liberia, with focus on the Political Governance Pillar.
He currently serves as the National Investigator of the Afrobarometer survey team in Liberia. He led the Afrobarometer Round 8 survey in 2020.
