Louis Tomavo
Biography
Louis Tomavo is Afrobarometer’s assistant project manager for Francophone Africa. He holds a Master’s Degree in Management from the University of Abomey-Calavi (UAC) in Benin and a second Master’s Degree in Public Economics and Applied Statistics from the African School of Economics. He is currently a PhD candidate at the Faculty of Economics and Management (FASEG) of the University of Abomey-Calavi.
Prior to this role, Louis worked with Innovative Research in Economics and Governance (IREG) as a Researcher, where he has gained extensive experience in project management, enumerator training, and questionnaire indigenization. He is highly proficient in STATA and SPSS for data analysis, as well as in Survey Solutions and SurveyToGo for questionnaire programming.
He has participated in Afrobarometer Summer Schools in Dakar and Pretoria and has contributed to the publication of several Afrobarometer dispatches and policy papers.
