Biography

Kwaku Owusu-Yeboah is responsible for all human resources-related activities and admin within the Network, including talent management, policy formulation and compliance, employee relations management and performance management.

He is a Human Resources specialist with a wealth of experience spanning over ten (10) years, having worked in various capacities within the Human Resource practice across the media, health, insurance and banking industries.

Before joining the Afrobarometer in November 2020 as the Human Resource Manager, Kwaku worked with Nyaho Medical Centre, one of Ghana’s leading private medical facilities. There, he served as the HR Business Partner and then moved on into private practice, where he provided human capital management advisory services on best practices, policies, labour law, among others for SMEs.

Within the banking and insurance sectors, Kwaku joined the Royal Bank Ltd in Accra as a Branch Operations Officer and worked in various roles, including a Credit Officer, and a Relationship Officer. He later moved into the Human Resource Department of the bank, where he became a Human Resource Generalist where he led some business transformation programs that led to significant organizational change.

Kwaku is a Senior Professional in Human Resources – International (SPHRi). He holds an Executive Certificate in Strategic HR Management from the HR Certification Centre; an MBA (HRM Option) from the Wisconsin International University College; a Certificate in Banking Operations from the Chartered Institute of Bankers Ghana; and a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree from the University of Professional Studies.
