Jaime Fernandes

Jaime Fernandes is the national investigator for Mozambique.

Biography

Jaime has been working in research for more than 20 years. He started his career in Portugal where he worked with several reputed Governmental organizations.

He later moved to West Africa where he had the opportunity to work in over twenty African countries: Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Madagascar, Rwanda, Ethiopia, Eritrea, Djibouti, Zambia, Malawi, Democratic Republic of Congo, Congo Brazzaville, Gabon, Cameroon, Ghana, Central African Republic, Chad, Nigeria, Niger, Burkina Faso, Ivory Coast, Senegal and Sierra Leone. Since 2012 Jaime has been managing Ipsos Mozambique business as Country President. Since then, Jaime has provided technical guidance to all Ipsos Mozambique teams and has had involvement in all projects that have come through here.

 

He acts as team lead for projects and point of escalation. Jaime holds a degree in Sociology and another in Political Science and a Masters’ degree in Multivariate Statistical Analysis for Social Sciences from ISCTE in Portugal.
