Biography

Felix Biga is a veteran finance executive with more than 19 years’ senior executive-level experience, including managing boards and external stakeholder interests. He has been responsible for operational management of multimillion-dollar budgets and resources in blue chip and multinational environments in Africa. He has managed complex business situations and is well-known for his ability to create a congenial management environment and get things done. Felix has extensive experience in corporate finance, change management, and the development and deployment of long- and short-term strategies across territories in Africa.

Felix began his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), where he worked in various capacities, including assurance, financial due diligence, and compliance. He joined British American Tobacco, where he served in various commercial roles in West Africa and eventually rose to finance director for British American Tobacco, Ghana.

After joining Allterrain Services Group as group chief financial officer, he became a member of the board of Allterrain Services Inc., its BVI-registered parent company. In this capacity, he led a transformation in the financial and business management practices of ATS and oversaw U.S. $130+ million P&L. He managed the financial operations of the ATS group in 14 countries in Africa, covering 24 legal entities and 96 remote sites.

As director of finance and administration for the Ghana Center for Democratic Development since 2017, Felix was instrumental in helping the center strengthen its financial management and administrative processes. He was appointed Afrobarometer operations manager/finance & PMU in June 2018. In September 2019, the Afrobarometer board appointed Felix as the organization’s first chief operating officer.

Felix is a fellow of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants, UK, and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana. He holds an MBA from the University of Leicester.
