Biography
Dewanou Jean-Luc Houngbeme is the Executive Director of Innovative Research in Economics and Governance (IREG).
He holds a PhD in Economics, with a specialisation in Environmental Economics, from the University of Abomey-Calavi in Benin.
He is currently a lecturer and researcher at universities in Guinea, the Republic of the Congo, and Benin. His research focuses on the development of tourism in natural areas, particularly beach tourism, as well as renewable energy, climate change, agricultural productivity, finance, and well-being. He has authored several academic publications.
