Cornel Jahari
Biography
Mr Cornel is a researcher and field manager at REPOA with enormous experience in surveys, including data collection and data processing for both qualitative and quantitative. In his position as a researcher, he has been engaged in various assignments including but not limited to writing research proposals, developing questionnaires, developing data templates, data cleaning and management, data analysis and report writing. He has publications in the areas of agriculture policy, youth employment, value chains, natural resources, governance, and gender relations.
As a field manager, he has been engaged in coordinating and supervising all fieldwork-related research by making all logistics related to fieldwork, recruiting research assistants, managing, and updating the research assistant database, training research assistants, preparing and supervising all field tests/pilots and feedback session coordinating and or introducing research assistants to the local leaders, managing field workers throughout the fieldwork periods.
Mr Cornel is a graduate of MA in Development Studies at Erasmus University Rotterdam, The Hague, The Netherlands; PGD Poverty Analysis from Institute of Social Studies, The Hague, The Netherlands and holder of B.A. Economics from the University of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
