COFINCO is a multidisciplinary firm operating across the economic, financial, and accounting sectors in Moroni, Comoros. COFINCO was established in 2003 by Housseine Cheikh Soilihi. It specialises in conducting surveys, feasibility studies, financial audits, evaluations, management control, coaching, training, monitoring, and comprehensive audits. In Comoros, COFINCO has conducted surveys for the World Bank, UNICEF, and Worldpoll (in partnership with DCDM Research).
COFINCO further extends its expertise to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and both governmental and non-governmental institutions. For businesses, the firm helps with credit and licensing applications, market research, business management consulting, and program implementation support. For public and nonprofit institutions, COFINCO conducts qualitative and quantitative studies through data collection, surveys, and factual investigations, helping inform evidence-based policy and decision-making.
COFINCO is the national partner of Afrobarometer in Comoros since 2025. COFINCO is in charge of the implementation of the survey and the dissemination of the results. It carries out all the steps related to data collection, analysis of results, and dissemination to civil society, international institutions and organisations, the press, the administration, the state, and all stakeholders.
