Background and Context
The Africa Judicial Independence Fund (AJIF) is committed to fostering strong and independent judicial systems across the African continent. Since its official launch last year, AJIF has partnered with various stakeholders, including judicial bodies, civil society organisations, academia, and development partners, to promote best practices, enhance capacity building, and address challenges related to judicial independence.
This event is a high-level convening of stakeholders as a pivotal opportunity to enhance learning, collaboration, and knowledge sharing among AJIF partners. It will serve as a platform to review progress, exchange experiences, and explore innovative approaches to advancing judicial independence on the continent. By bringing together diverse voices, the event aims to deepen partnerships and foster a collective commitment to strengthening judicial systems.
