- About nine in 10 citizens (89%) favour the idea of making contraceptives accessible to anyone who is sexually active regardless of marital status, including 42% who “strongly agree” with such an approach (Figure 3).
- o But only a slim majority (52%) say contraceptives should be available regardless of people’s age, while 39% oppose such a policy.

When it comes to contraceptives, most Seychellois support making contraceptives available regardless of people’s marital status. However, views are divided on whether to make them accessible regardless of age, with a sizeable minority expressing opposition.
